Does anyone else use YouTube as a radio? Most days I use it to listen to music videos but leave the video element minimised. Sure, Last.fm has a better recommendation engine, but most songs aren't just sitting there ready to play. But I don't know an easier place to search for any song and play it as many times as you like without having to download anything - and at the end of every song it recommends you another one that's usually similar enough to make an adequate next choice, just a click away.
All the time, and Last.fm, and even what's streaming to my parcel in Second Life as it know it the genre I want...
...it just there, it's accessible so it gets used ;-)

I'm developing a youtube powered internet radio station. Basically I index as many Youtube songs into a database and play it back in a nonstop stream. A beta will be soon available at www.theinternet.fm (won't let me type this above).

Hi Chris
Great idea! Currently there seems to be nothing at theinternet.fm but do drop me a note when there's anything to see, I'd love to have a play.
