The annotated everything
Came across a new UK news service this morning via a Technorati link back to this blog - SaysWho?, a new service that aggregates bloggers who have commented on stories from a (currently small) selection of UK newspaper websites. Like The Annotated New York Times - which it closely resembles in functional intent if not in form - it adds a trackback layer to some online UK newspaper stories and aggregates in one place both commentary on the news from the blogosphere and a basic rankings system of the most blogged-about journalists. Much like Chipwrapper, that recently launched a service to search across multiple UK newspaper archives, it's interesting to see this sort of aggregated service layer being rolled out across UK newspaper websites by third-party developers.
