For some reason I've only just come across this. According to Springwise, Korea's citizen-journalism poster-child Oh My News is opening a school for training citizen journalists just outside Seoul.
OMN was seen as the proof that citizen journalism could work as a business model, right up to the point in November 2006 when it turned out not to be making a profit any more. Still...as the line between professional and amateur writers continues to blur it's interesting to see Korea's CJ experiment blurring it still further with formal training for its reporters.
