What strikes me as remarkable about Mr Wong's competition to find a new (non-racist) logo is the sheer consistent quality of the work submitted. For a prize pot of $12,000 they've got 62 pages of mostly professional-standard logos, perhaps half of which (once you take out the bad ones and the "MW" themed entries) would do nicely as the logo for some start-up. I was them, I'd use it as the basis for a web logo exchange. Getting the initial critical mass for a marketplace is always the hard part and they've already written off the $12,000 it cost them to get far and (presumably) got themselves a logo they're happy with into the bargain.
