Last night on the way home from work I saw a thing I'd not seen before: a van parked up with a TV embedded in the side, facing the street, running an ad for the company that owned the van.
What are we learning here? Screens are so cheap they can be put anywhere just to run ads. People like the idea of "innovative" marketing even if the innovation serves no practical purpose. But...I'm writing about it. There's a big first mover advantage when you're in an industry obsessed with newness.
