(This post is only very slightly about media strategy: it is primarily about a cure for hayfever you might find it useful to know about, and will probably only be of interest if you or someone you know suffers from hayfever.)
So, last year I got hold of a hayfever remedy called Grazax. It's not cheap, and it only helps if what you suffer from is specifically grass pollen allergy (in my experience any GP can test you for that), and you need to start taking it well before the hayfever season starts (ie in the UK about now)...but I can confirm this stuff really worked for me. Two years ago I spent every spring and early summer constantly sneezing: in 2007 I had no hayfever symptoms at all. You might want to give it a try. Here's some more information. Here, for balance, is a medical journal saying it doesn't work (not my experience, but there you are). You should bear in mind the usual disclaimer that I am not a doctor and taking medical advice from me would be ill-advised at best: all I'm saying is that it worked like a charm for me.
(And just as a bonus, here's a quick thought on media strategy: now that everyone is a media company, this is what marketing looks like. Produce something good that people want to tell their friends about, and let them get on with it. Your product and your customer service is your marketing now, and the most useful thing your marketing department can be doing is training everyone at your company with a customer-facing role to understand that during every single customer interaction they are now effectively talking to the press. Oh, and making a nice website that contains genuinely useful information for people to link to, and making themselves available to answer questions from everyone politely and accurately.)
